These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Threshold Coach (the "App"), a Reddit moderation tool built on Reddit's Developer Platform (Devvit) and operated by Stjepan Grčić ("we," "us," "our").
By installing, configuring, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
Threshold Coach is a pre-submission coaching tool for Reddit moderators. When enabled in a community, the App reads newly submitted posts against the community's configured semantic rules and may post a stickied, mod-distinguished comment under a post when it detects a likely rule conflict. The App is informational only. It does not remove posts, ban users, or take enforcement actions on a moderator's behalf.
You may install the App if you are a moderator of a public subreddit and have authority to install third-party Devvit apps in that subreddit. You must comply with Reddit's User Agreement, Content Policy, and Developer Platform policies at all times. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App in your community complies with all applicable Reddit policies.
The App requires you to provide your own Google Gemini API key. You are solely responsible for the use, security, billing, and policy compliance of your Gemini API key. Charges and usage limits from Google are between you and Google. We have no visibility into or control over your Gemini account.
You may not use the App to:
The App processes the text of newly submitted posts in your community to evaluate them against the rules you configure. Post text is sent to Google Gemini for evaluation using the API key you provide. The App stores configuration data, counters, and a limited recent-flags list (titles only, no usernames) in Reddit-managed storage. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The App's coaching output is generated by a large language model and may be incorrect, biased, or incomplete. The App is not a substitute for moderator judgment. We make no guarantees about availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular community.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or community trust arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to $0, since the App is free to install and you bring your own API key.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App's listing on developers.reddit.com or via an update to this page. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may uninstall the App from your community at any time via Reddit's community apps interface. We may discontinue or restrict the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.
For questions about these Terms, contact Stjepan Grčić via Reddit (u/buildandlearn) or through the contact page on the main site.
